Rescue & Transport

Our Rescue & Transport Program works with other shelters and rescues to pull animals from our overpopulated shelter and transport them to areas with lower rates of animal homelessness and adopters who are looking for a pet in need. Our shelter is very rescue friendly, and we rely on rescue organizations nationwide to help keep our live release rates as high as possible. We do transports to the North East every 2-3 weeks that often consist of over 100 animals, and we are always looking for new groups to partner with to save as many animals as possible.

Are you a rescue hoping to partner with us? Please complete our Rescue Application below and allow us 3-5 business days for us to process your application.

Thank you for helping the homeless pets of South Central Kentucky get one step closer to home!
