Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

Located at the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society, the Hotaling Spay/Neuter Clinic offers affordable, high-quality preventative pet care. Operating in partnership with the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Fix the Future® initiative, the clinic offers low-cost spay and neuter surgeries to stop pet overpopulation before it starts. The clinic also offers essential vaccinations, walk-in microchipping, heartworm testing, and more, to ensure every family has access to the life-saving resources for happy and healthy pets.

*The Spay/Neuter Clinic receives a high volume of surgery applications. Surgeries are currently being booked for 1 month out. For the quickest response, the best way to apply is to visit the Clinic in person. We appreciate your patience!
Dog and Cat Spay/Neuters:
Thanks to The BISSELL Pet Foundation's Fix the Future initiative, spay and neuter surgeries are just $25 for cats and dogs under 80 pounds!* This service also includes a FREE microchip and FREE booster vaccine if needed.

*Dogs over 80 lbs and rabbit surgeries are $50. ​​
​Pre-payment and appointment are necessary.
Veterinary Services:
The Hotaling Spay/Neuter clinic offers yearly vaccinations and other preventative care on a walk-in basis! These veterinary services are available when a vet is available -- no appointment necessary!

The Hotaling Spay/Neuter Clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Veterinary services are generally available 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. unless otherwise noted on the monthly calendar (click for details).
Microchipping:
Microchips are tiny, permanent identification chips inserted under a pet's skin. It is not a GPS tracker, but the ID chip can be scanned if your pet is lost and taken to a shelter or vet. This is the easiest and quickest way to be reunited with your pet if they are ever lost.
Microchips cost just $20 and include free registration through 24PetWatch.

Flea, Tick, and Parasite Prevention:
We carry a wide variety of flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal parasite preventatives, and we offer both prescription and over-the-counter options for cats and dogs.

*To purchase prescription preventatives, your pet must have a patient-client relationship at the Hotaling Spay/Neuter Clinic and an active prescription on file. Prescriptions must be renewed every 12 months.
The Community Cat Program, also known as our TNR program, helps keep community cats healthy and reduces the cat population in our area. The TNR team traps and spays or neuters community cats, then returns them to where they were found and consider to be home. This preventive program aims to target the problem at its source with spay/neuter and has already saved thousands of cats' lives in Bowling Green and surrounding areas.
